Semana Santa Volunteers

Many thanks to our recent volunteer work-group from the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta Georgia. These young people did a wonderful job of engaging and teaching the children at the kinder during the week before Easter when everyone is off from school.
They also helped in the garden and did some work at one of the mother’s homes. We appreciate everyone’s energy and their support and can’t wait until they return next year!!

Yes, there is a tree in the house!

Several upcoming volunteers have recently heard about and asked about the tree that grows thru the Volunteer’s Beach-House. Why yes, we do have a tree in the house. Please be sure to water it if you happen to be staying there! And if you want to know more about the house . . . Well, it belongs to two HondurasChildren supporters and they allow us to run programs for children from the first floor and have volunteers live on the 2nd. It’s just a few blocks from the kinder and . . . yes . . . here’s the view . . . it REALLY is on the beach!
